Watch Out For These Salesperson Tricks

Unfortunately, there are some in the business of selling automobiles that find it necessary to trick you or use underhanded tactics to get you to buy a car.
Here are three things to watch out for when dealing with a car salesperson.
- “You have to buy the car today.” Don’t fall for this kind of high-pressure tactic. Usually, the sales person is just trying to use the scarcity tactic on you and meet his quota for the month. Take your time and make the right decision for yourself.
- Taking advantage of first-time buyers. Be sure to ask the salesperson “are there any other questions I should be asking you?” Any reputable salesperson will let you know everything you should consider to help you make your buying decision.
- Be careful of the “low ball.” When you decide to leave to shop for another dealer, the salesperson may give you a lowball price that you won’t find elsewhere. If you come back later, they often then can’t get you that price.
